I have always had a vivid imagination, frequently earning
the unwanted attention of my school teachers when they
found the drawings I had tucked into my text books, or
found me gazing out the window instead of taking notes.

My father was an artist, and I grew up wanting to be the
same, so I got my degree in Illustration. A few years ago, however, I rediscovered my love of reading romances, and so decided to try my hand at writing them.

When I entered an on-line writing contest on the website of one of my favorite romance authors she suggested I join the Romance Writers of America to learn more
about writing and the publishing industry. I joined my local chapter of that very large and informative writing organization and found it to be an excellent opportunity to get all the inside scoop on current writing and publishing trends.

I went on to submit and publish in the short lived Arabella Romances Magazine, but unfortunately it died an early death after only three beautiful issues.

I've since made my home at the on-line romance publisher The Wild Rose Press, who've published a wonderfully supportive and talented group of authors.

I’m a desert girl, so my stories are almost always set in my home state of Arizona. I love the smell of the rain on the desert. The sight of a huge wall of dust and rain sweeping across the valley, eclipsing entire subdivisions at a time, like some fantastic mystical,
angry dragon out to reclaim his territory from the human interlopers...

But I digress. :-)

I love Arizona, even though I get grumpy about the heat for the better part of the year.
I share my messy home (well, a girl's gotta have priorities and I'd rather write than clean house!) with my two 'children' - two sweet kitties who have a tendency to find trouble when I least expect it!
